Rock climbing and the outdoors
Outside of the lab I probably spend most of my time rock climbing! I'm particularly passionate about outdoor rock climbing, in particular bouldering and sport climbing. During the weekdays, though, you're more likely to find me in the rock climing gym planning, training, and thinking about my outdoor climbing project. I find that rock climbing presents unique physical challenges and requires creative problem-solving while set in the beautiful great outdoors!

World travel
I've travelled all over the world and love nothing more than landing in a place I've never been, armed with just my feet and some internet to guide me. Every new city and country represents incredible opportunities for exploration and a view on how everyday life looks for other cultures!
