Ruth L. Kirschstein Predoctoral Individual National Research Service Award (2021 - Present)
- T-cell lymphomas are a class of aggressive non-Hodgkins lymphoma with poor prognosis and relatively few treatment options. Histone deacetylase inhibitors (HDACi) have emerged as a promising FDA approved therapeutic but only a minority of patients will respond. To improve the outlook for patients with T-cell lymphoma, this project aims to investigate the mechanisms of response to HDACi in T-cell lymphomas and explore methods to overcome HDACi resistance.
